Terms of use
Last updated 28 October 2026
Anubhav is provided by your medical college to keep the postgraduate training logbook required by the National Medical Commission's Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023. By using it you agree to these terms. They sit alongside the college's own rules for postgraduate training and its code of conduct, which continue to apply.
Your account
Your account is issued by your college and is personal to you. Keep your password to yourself, change the one-time password you are first given, and sign out on shared devices. Tell your College Administrator at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with it until then.
The record you keep
Everything you record is part of an official training record that your PG Guide signs, your Head of Department certifies and the university examines. Record activities truthfully, on the day they happen where the college's policy requires it, and at the level of participation you actually had. A record found to be false is a matter for the college's disciplinary process, not just for the app.
Never enter a patient's name, hospital number, contact details or any other identifier. Use the de-identified case reference the activity form asks for. Evidence files you attach must not contain patient identifiers either.
Reviews, signatures and certification
Approvals, grades, monthly sign-offs, appraisals and certification are given by the people the college assigns to those roles and carry their stored signature where one is kept. They are part of the record and are not withdrawn except through the reopening and amendment steps the app provides, which leave their history visible. Once certified, the Logbook PDF is frozen and the stored copy is the official one.
Acceptable use
Use Anubhav only for the training record and the work of the roles you hold. Do not attempt to see records outside your role, to probe or interfere with the service, or to upload anything unlawful or malicious. Uploads are scanned, and every action is logged under your account.
Availability and changes
The college aims to keep the service available throughout training but cannot promise uninterrupted access; planned maintenance and outages are possible. Keep your own copies of important evidence. The app and these terms may change; when the change matters you will be asked to accept the terms again.
Privacy
How your data is held, shared, kept and erased is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
